Due to its special inverted gull wing style, the F4U Corsair is one of the most identifiable and iconic U.S. Navy and Marine fighter aircraft of World War II. This upgraded and updated version of the E-flite® F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m features a factory-installed three and 4S suitable power system with an exclusive 70A Smart Lite ESC to provide more capabilities and performance. The BNF® Fundamental version also consists of a telemetry-capable AR631 receiver with both AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations that make it much easier to fly than ever previously. The airframe is now completed in the iconic "all blue" trim plan and consists of different decal sheets to tailor it with militaries, NAVY, and other markings. Factory-installed turning retracts with strut covers, plus functional flaps, take your scale warbird experience to another level!

This upgraded and updated version of the E-flite® F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m is the Most intelligent, most powerful, and easiest to fly "full-house" model of the iconic warbird yet! It's better equipped for scale-like flying and sport flying, PLUS uses greater speed and aerobatic capabilities than previously — and consists of optional-use SAFE® Select technology that makes it much easier to fly (BNF® Fundamental version just). The factory-installed brushless power system features a 70-amp Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart Lite ESC plus a specially-tuned motor and 4-blade prop. This combination provides an abundance of thrust with a 3S LiPo battery, or more speed and nearly unrestricted vertical performance with a 4S battery. The ESC can supply a range of real-time power system related telemetry data including motor RPM, present, battery voltage and more – with Smart and non-Smart batteries – by means of suitable receivers (including the AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters while you fly. Its lightweight yet long lasting, composite-reinforced and fully-molded EPO airframe has an abundance of scale detail including panel lines and a pilot figure. Practical scale features include factory-installed turning retracts with strut covers plus functional flaps. Decal sheets with MARINES, NAVY and other markings are offered personalizing the factory-applied paint finish. No glue is required for final assembly — which indicates you can have the F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m all set to fly in less time than it requires to charge a battery!





 






Plug-N-Play® Completion Level
The Plug-N-Play (PNP) version comes out of the box with a factory-installed power system and servos that are all set to connect to the suitable receiver of your option (sold individually), plus the transmitter and battery you supply (also sold individually).
