Tamiya Rc Monster Beetle Trail 4X4 Kit, W/ Gf-01Tr Chassis

The timeless Tamiya Monster Beetle is an iconic R/C set. This version takes the timeless body, diminishes it to a smaller scale, and installs it on a variant GF-01 chassis called the GF-01TR!

The GF-01TR fits the gear-driven GF-01 chassis with decrease equipments (also known as portal axles). This adjustment allows enthusiasts to much better transverse rough trail terrain as it increases the clearance of the bottom of the chassis to clear barriers that could otherwise high center the vehicle and render it stuck.

GF-01TR Chassis:

This gear-driven 4WD chassis is based around a light-weight and difficult monocoque frame, with power offered by the centrally-positioned motor. Decrease equipments on each axle sluggish drive shaft rotation for enormous torque, fantastic ground clearance, and the capability to handle difficult off-road terrain. The transmission is sealed to safeguard it from dust and debris, and incorporated into the frame. Integrated differential equipments provide outstanding traction and toughness with using included diff putty. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension uses friction dampers, while a 2-piece tie rod guiding setup with the servo on the left gives outstanding cornering reaction. Yellow wheels are fitted with 115mm size hybrid pin spike/lug pattern tires for exceptional cushioning and grip. The chassis uses a 'square' setup with similar tread and wheelbase lengths.
