This is a highly comprehensive model of the WWII German tank destroyer Nashorn. The German Army established self-propelled anti-tank guns in order to counter the overwhelming Russian T-34 and KV tanks, and the Nashorn had particularly frustrating power among the many anti-tank guns produced. The production began in February 1943, and the Nashorn sported an L/71 8.8cm Pak43/1 gun which can permeating armor from a long distance. At the Italian Front, the Nashorn knocked out an M4 Sherman at 2.8 kilometers, and its outstanding firepower was indispensable to the German forces up until completion of WWII.1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit.
