1/35 German Heavy SP Howitzer Hummel Plastic Design Set

This TAMIYA model recreates the German WWII self-propelled weapon Howitzer Hummel (Late Production). Its name equates to "bumblebee". The Hummel was developed to satisfy need for mobile artillery assistance for German tank systems. Based upon the Geschutzwagen III/IV (also utilized on the Nashorn), it sported an L/30 15cm howitzer and open leading combating compartment. Hummels were developed in 1942 and debuted on the Eastern Front in 1943; they were also seen in North-West Europe and Italy in the latter half of WWII.

Requires paint and assembly.
