1/10 RC 1997 Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR (TT-01 Type-E) Restricted Edition - Re-Issue

This Tamiya radio control model reproduction recreates the 1997 Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR. The model was originally released as Product 58214 on the TA-03R chassis. This release sees the timeless race automobile body mounted on the proven and novice friendly TT-01 Type-E chassis! The actual automobile was powered by a

leviathan 6-liter V12 engine. In 1997 it had a highly successful FIA GT Championship season, taking six wins in eleven races on its method to the group (AMG-Mercedes) and chauffeur championships.

Evolved Chassis

The bath tub frame of the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery close to the ground for lower center of mass and optimal balance. Mounted on the bath tub frame is a fiberglass enhanced nylon upper deck and gear covers enhancing rigidness, along with a 3-piece tie rod offering smooth guiding action. The low center of mass, highly balanced style, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and rear differential equipments all come together to produce an outstanding driving experience.

Lightweight and long lasting polycarbonate body.

Separate molded parts recreate wing, spoiler and side mirrors.

Stickers are consisted of to recreate markings, with window masking sticker labels to assist throughout the painting process.

Silver wheels are coupled with racing slick tires.

The TT-01 Type-E chassis features shaft-driven 4WD for simple handling, and great customization.

A large range of Hop-UP Option parts is readily available to tune the chassis.

Includes 540 Torque-Tuned motor.

Required Items: 2-Channel radio, guiding servo, 7.2volt battery pack with compatible charger, and Tamiya's PS paint.
