Tamiya 1/10 Rc 1991 Audi V8 Touring Kit, With Tt-02 Chassis

This Tamiya R/C set recreates the classic Audi DTM racing car as raced throughout the DTM 1991 season. The Audi V8 touring car had a 456hp 3.6-liter V8 which enhanced the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) racing series in Germany. Because season, it took 4 success overall and brought Frank Biela to the chauffeurs title.

The shaft driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal design with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to provide excellent stability. In addition, it includes similar left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is an extremely versatile chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a variety of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and trendy front bumper supports.

Body is clear.

Required to Complete: 2-Channerl radio, steering servo, 7.2volt battery pack with compatible battery charger, and Tamiya PS paint, assembly, and assembly tools.

Features:

• Sticker labels are included to recreate the markings for the no.45 car driven by 1991 champ Frank Biela. Window masking stickers included to assist in the painting process.
• Two-piece mesh wheels (Item 50548 design) have silver color rims and gold color spokes. They are coupled with racing slick tires.
• 4-bevel differential equipments and 4-wheel double wishbone suspension make for smooth driving.
• Resin ball links in the steering linkage joints make for smooth, comfortable motion.
• Wheel hubs are shaped to look like brake discs.
• Motor cover includes detachable cooling duct (not connected in above image).
