For input power, utilize a Spektrum Power Supply unit (SPMXC10201, offered independently) or any suitable DC power source with the included IC3 power cable adapter. The S1500 battery charger has a USB port, a software upgrade port, plus a safety timer and security versus heat, reverse polarity, brief circuit, over-current, and low input voltage.
