Item Summary
Like its predecessor, the AR637T features integrated in AS3X Technology, and now pilots can establish and program SAFE Technology to their airplane. AS3X Technology (3-axis stabilization) works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of turbulence so you delight in a sense of stability and accuracy that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger, expertly tuned airplane. SAFE Technology provides an additional level of security so that RC flying is simpler than ever before. When triggered, bank and pitch limitations keep you from over-controlling and automated self-leveling makes healing from risky or complicated mindsets as basic as releasing the sticks. Shows and set up of AS3X and SAFE is done straight from your Spektrum transmitter* with an easy 3-step forward configuring preliminary setup. To utilize SAFE and AS3X innovation with the AR637T receiver, the receiver needs to be set up with a suitable Spektrum transmitter. With forward configuring there is no need for apps or cables to program or make changes while at the flying field.
The AR637T features full variety telemetry with an integrated barometer to offer altitude and vario telemetry data without extra sensors. Additional telemetry devices such as voltage sensors can be linked to the volt port and XBus telemetry sensors can be linked through the XBus port. It also features an SRXL2 port for an SRXL2 Remote Receiver to add extra RF path redundancy (offered separately). An SRXL2 port is available to link compatible devices, program and upgrade the receiver, and bind with a traditional bind plug or link a battery. The AR637T is compatible and ready-to-use with the Spektrum Smart ESC for even simpler one-wire telemetry data. Spektrum Smart ESCs integrate plug-n-play simplicity with the capability to interact with other Smart electronics – together, creating the best-performing RC system for your model imaginable. The AR637T receiver throttle port consists of Smart Throttle. When geared up with Smart Throttle the standard servo port delivers the throttle signal to the ESC, plus the ESC can send out telemetry data back to the receiver. The throttle port will instantly discover when a Smart throttle compatible ESC is plugged in and the throttle port will begin to operate in Smart Throttle mode.
No more bind plugs! Instead, a big bind button is used to go into the bind mode. All combined the Spektrum AR637T provides you more in a 6-channel receiver than ever before, so that you can fly with the highest sense of self-confidence possible and have more fun.
