Introduction
The Spektrum AR631 AS3X Telemetry Receiver is a DSM2 and DSMX capable receiver. Its compact footprint is created to fit in a wide variety of airplane models including park leaflets and bigger sport models. The AR631 is a full variety 6-channel receiver with integrated in AS3X and SAFE stabilization, which counters the effects of wind, turbulence and torque using 3-axis MEMS gyro and exclusive flight control software application tuned by specialist RC pilots. There is no hold-up in control reaction or limitations on control tosses. You'll just seem like you're flying an expertly tuned design that does exactly what you want.

Overview
The AR631 includes fly-by variety telemetry and a bind button that makes it simple to bind with no plugs essential and offers both SmartSafe technology and Hold Last as well as predetermined failsafe types set through forward programs. A long 230mm 2.4gHz antenna, best for getting ideal reception when installed into tight areas. The AR631 also includes Smart Telemetry support.
With Smart Innovation the typical servo adapter delivers the throttle signal to the ESC, plus the ESC can send out telemetry information like voltage and existing back to the receiver. The AR631 receiver throttle port (Channel 1 port only) will instantly spot when a Smart suitable ESC is connected. ESCs with Smart and IC series ports can also pass along battery information from suitable Spektrum Smart batteries. Spektrum Avian™ ESCs are compatible with the AR631 receiver for Smart Innovation features.
For Smart to operate you must have a Smart ESC coupled with a Smart telemetry receiver, and a Spektrum DSMX transmitter with telemetry. An upgrade for your transmitter might be required for Smart features. See the Spektrum website to sign up and update your transmitter. If a standard ESC or servo is plugged into the throttle port on the AR631 receiver, the throttle port will run generally (PWM signal) like any standard RC system.

SAFE® Technology
SAFE® (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology flight modes help pilots prevent over-controlling their models. SAFE uses AS3X to provide typical flight efficiency, but with restricted bank and pitch angles to avoid the airplane from getting in extreme mindsets.
 







Long 230mm 2.4GHz Antenna
The AR631 includes an extra-long 230mm 2.4ghz antenna (roughly 9 inches), specifically engineered for usage in tight setups. When installing your receiver into an aircraft where there is less then perfect area away from batteries and other gadgets, a long antenna is crucial. This enables users to set up the receiver in tight areas and separate the antenna for ideal reception and link quality. When placing your antenna, it is best to have it at least 75mm ( roughly 3 inches) away from batteries, electronic speed controls (ESC), ignition systems, and other electronic gadgets. Utilize the incorporated flight log telemetry to perform a through variety test to better examine your setup.
 



Forward Programming
You can configure the AR631 receiver wirelessly, straight from any suitable Spektrum™ transmitter, through the Forward Programming menu. No different computer system or mobile phone is needed for setup and modifications.
 





 



Smart Telemetry
To enjoy the complete advantages of Smart™ technology, utilize the AR631 receiver with a Smart ESC and telemetry capable Spektrum DSMX® transmitter. The AR631 includes fly-by telemetry and will offer important telemetry information such as existing, voltage, temperature and RPM is sent out straight to your transmitter.
