Introduction
The Spektrum AR630 AS3X Telemetry Receiver is a DSM2 and DSMX capable receiver. Its compact footprint is developed to fit in a vast array of aircraft designs consisting of park flyers and larger sport designs. The AR630 is a complete variety 6-channel receiver with built in AS3X and SAFE stabilization, which counters the results of wind, turbulence and torque utilizing 3-axis MEMS gyro and special flight control software tuned by expert RC pilots. There is no hold-up in control reaction or limits on control throws. You'll simply feel like you're flying a skillfully tuned design that does precisely what you want.

Overview
The AR630 includes fly-by variety telemetry and a bind button that makes it simple to bind without any plugs needed and offers both SmartSafe technology and Hold Last along with predetermined failsafe types set through forward programming. The AR630 also includes Smart Telemetry support.
With Smart Technology the typical servo adapter delivers the throttle signal to the ESC, plus the ESC can send out telemetry data like voltage and current back to the receiver. The AR630 receiver throttle port (Channel 1 port only) will automatically detect when a Smart compatible ESC is connected. ESCs with Smart and IC series adapters can also pass along battery data from compatible Spektrum Smart batteries. Spektrum Bird™ ESCs are compatible with the AR630 receiver for Smart Technology features.
For Smart to operate you need to have a Smart ESC coupled with a Smart telemetry receiver, and a Spektrum DSMX transmitter with telemetry. An update for your transmitter might be required for Smart features. See www.spektrumrc. com to sign up and update your transmitter. If a standard ESC or servo is plugged into the throttle port on the AR630 receiver, the throttle port will operate generally (PWM signal) like any conventional RC system.

SAFE® Technology
SAFE® (Sensing unit Assisted Flight Envelope) technology flight modes help pilots prevent over-controlling their designs. SAFE uses AS3X to deliver typical flight efficiency, however with limited bank and pitch angles to avoid the aircraft from getting in severe attitudes.
 





Antenna-less
The AR630 includes an internal antenna design that offers exceptional full-range efficiency. In addition, setup is simpler than ever, plus there's no longer a threat of failure due to long-lasting wire exposure or abuse.
 

Forward Configuring
You can configure the AR630 receiver wirelessly, straight from any compatible Spektrum™ transmitter, through the Forward Programs menu. No separate computer or mobile phone is needed for setup and modifications.
 





 



SMART TELEMETRY
To take pleasure in the full benefits of Smart™ technology, use the AR630 receiver with a Smart ESC and telemetry capable Spektrum DSMX® transmitter. The AR630 includes fly-by telemetry and will supply crucial telemetry data such as current, voltage, temperature level and RPM is sent straight to your transmitter.
