Rear A-Arms for the Associated MT8, Black

RPM Rear A-arms for the Associated MT8 are created to improve durability over stock A-arms. How did they do it? Initially, by increasing the amount of product surrounding the inner hinge pins by 7%, then increasing the width of that thicker size by nearly 40%! They then increased the amount of product at the outer hinge pins by 28%! They also increased the width there too, by another 9%.

The assistance beams on RPM A-arms also got beefier. At their thickest, stock a-arms are approximately 1/2" (12.7mm) thick however taper down on both ends. That totals up to a loss of nearly 30% of their thickness at the outer hinge pins. Not with RPM! Their A-arms are a full 1/2" (12.7mm) over nearly their entire length! They just taper them a little at the inner hinge pins (.45" or 11.43mm at their narrowest) to match the maximum size permitted of the inner hinge pin bosses. To make up for that minor taper, they use 4 massive assistance beams instead of two, making RPM MT8 A-arms the most difficult option to stock available!
