The Eclipse 1M is the ideal way to experience the pleasure of sailing on a gentle Summer's breeze, or the excitement of racing your own America's Cup racing private yacht. The large one meter (39") hull is accuracy blow-molded from high-strength ABS and functions long lasting, enhanced rip-stop nylon sails that show up pre-printed with bright, attractive graphics. Easy to put together, the Eclipse 1M gets here with the majority of the difficult and time consuming rigging currently finished, making last assembly quick and convenient. A sealed, waterproof deck hatch protects internal electronic elements such as the "drum-style" sail winch servo which provides extra power and smoother, more scale-like performance than regular servos.Perhaps the most remarkable function of this sailboat is the size - measuring over 7' (213cm) high from the bottom of the ballast bulb to the idea of the mast. The Eclipse 1M is an RTR boat, and gets here with everything required to start sailing except for the AA batteries. In addition to the pre-trimmed and decorated hull, inside you'll find a 2.4GHz radio system, rip-stop nylon sails and all the rigging parts necessary to quickly build the mast. It also consists of a light-weight boat stand for display and upkeep. Best of all, the Eclipse is quickly and quickly taken apart for storage and transportation.
