The Eclipse 1M is the ideal method to experience the satisfaction of sailing on a mild Summer season's breeze, or the excitement of racing your own America's Cup racing private yacht. The large one meter (39") hull is precision blow-molded from high-strength ABS and functions durable, reinforced rip-stop nylon sails that show up pre-printed with bright, appealing graphics. Easy to put together, the Eclipse 1M arrives with most of the tough and time consuming rigging currently finished, making final assembly quick and practical. A sealed, water-resistant deck hatch protects internal electronic elements such as the "drum-style" cruise winch servo which provides additional power and smoother, more scale-like performance than regular servos.Perhaps the most remarkable function of this sailboat is the size - measuring over 7' (213cm) tall from the bottom of the ballast bulb to the suggestion of the mast. The Eclipse 1M is an RTR boat, and arrives with everything needed to begin sailing except for the AA batteries. In addition to the pre-trimmed and embellished hull, inside you'll discover a 2.4GHz radio system, rip-stop nylon sails and all the rigging parts required to easily build the mast. It also includes a light-weight boat mean display and upkeep. Most importantly, the Eclipse is quickly and easily taken apart for storage and transportation.
