The P-40 is manufactured from resilient EPP foam and a detachable prop system adds to the durability by almost eliminating broken props and bent motor shafts. Like a lot of Rage RC aircrafts, the P-40 consists of the PASS (Pilot Assist Stability Software) system which permits the performance envelope of the aircraft to expand with your flying skills and makes flying a more pleasurable experience. With PASS, in Full or Partial Assist Mode, if you ever lose control, simply launch the control sticks and the aircraft will rapidly go back to level flight. Even when in Specialist Mode, if you enter trouble, all you need to do is move the PASS switch on the transmitter to Complete or Partial Assist for the system to take control of and you're back in level, stable flight. Another option consisted of with the P-40 is the removable snap-in-place landing equipment that can be used for take-offs from smooth surfaces. When hand-launching is a better option for conditions, using Partial Assist makes it a breeze whether the equipment is installed, or not. For added enjoyable when flying with the PASS system, you can utilize the Stunt button on the transmitter to instantly enable the P-40 to complete either a loop or roll that will make you appear like an ace pilot.The Micro P-40 includes pre-applied decals that produce an attractive WWII trim plan. Everything needed to begin flying is consisted of in the box; consisting of a 2.4GHz basic size 4-channel transmitter, a pre-installed air-borne electronic devices system, a hassle-free USB battery charger, and an effective 3.7V 400mAh LiPo battery for extended flight times of approximately 15 minutes. The only items you need to add are four AA batteries for the transmitter and you'll be flying missions around your local park within minutes of opening the box!
