The P-40 is produced from durable EPP foam and a removable prop system adds to the durability by nearly getting rid of broken props and bent motor shafts. Like many Rage RC airplanes, the P-40 consists of the PASS (Pilot Assist Stability Software) system which enables the efficiency envelope of the airplane to broaden with your flying abilities and makes flying a more satisfying experience. With PASS, completely or Partial Assist Mode, if you ever lose control, merely launch the control sticks and the airplane will rapidly return to level flight. Even when in Professional Mode, if you get into problem, all you need to do is move the PASS switch on the transmitter to Full or Partial Assist for the system to take control of and you're back in level, stable flight. Another alternative included with the P-40 is the removable snap-in-place landing gear that can be used for liftoffs from smooth surfaces. When hand-launching is a better alternative for conditions, using Partial Assist makes it a breeze whether the gear is installed, or not. For added fun when flying with the PASS system, you can utilize the Stunt button on the transmitter to immediately enable the P-40 to complete either a loop or roll that will make you look like an ace pilot.The Micro P-40 features pre-applied decals that produce an appealing WWII trim plan. Whatever required to start flying is included in package; consisting of a 2.4GHz standard size 4-channel transmitter, a pre-installed airborne electronic devices system, a convenient USB charger, and a powerful 3.7V 400mAh LiPo battery for extended flight times of up to 15 minutes. The only products you need to add are 4 AA batteries for the transmitter and you'll be flying objectives around your regional park within minutes of opening the box!
