This is a Li-Poly 2000mAh receiver battery pack from ProTek R/C, made with super thick 20awg silicone wire! This super lightweight Li-Poly battery is developed to power the electronic devices of 1/10th & 1/8th scale gas powered race automobiles, and was developed specifically for the Losi 8ight family radio boxes! The general weight of your race vehicle will be significantly lowered over the use of common NiMh receiver loads. The battery voltage to your receiver and servos will remain consistent throughout the race with the use of a voltage regulator (required). A continuous voltage for your servos will make sure consistent performance at the start and end of the your race compared to common NiMH receiver battery packs.

These packs are developed with a lexan plastic shell around the outside of the battery, then covered in blue heat diminish. The lexan shell is developed to secure the battery cells while in the vehicle, for longer life. Note that due to the lexan shell, often the battery may feel soft to the discuss the outside of the battery; this is regular as there is a little air gap between the lexan shell and the battery cells inside.
