iGyro 1e...

Secret Features

  • Ultra-precise single-axis MEMS sensing unit

  • Regulative algorithm designed particularly for fixed-wing design aircraft

  • Single axis shared by two servos, each separately variable

  • Conventional PWM input and output signals

  • Gain input for in-flight level of sensitivity modification

  • Heading or Typical mode, switchable in flight

  • Integral servo-match and reverse function

  • Gyro Sense x 4 function for big, slow designs

  • Variable frame-rate

  • 16-bit processor for quickly, high-resolution signal processing

Introduction

Just like the iGyro 3e, the impressive feature of the iGyro 1e is just how simple it is to use. The gadget can be used right away after it is unpacked: plug in, fix in location, fly.

In every respect its performance is as good as the distinguished larger iGyro systems, and the little variation imparts exactly the very same iGyro feeling. The additional important functions are a world's first in this class:

Two outputs can be set up separately of each other, both in regards to gyro effect and control function. This means: it is possible to change output 2 separately for the gyro's instructions of effect, and the servo's instructions of rotation, end-points and centre. This important servo-match function can be exploited, for instance, to use a single channel to control the rudder and steerable nosewheel, but set various gyro functions for both. Normally the nosewheel may be set up with a Heading function, but the rudder with Typical gyro function just. It is also possible to appoint the gyro function to two ailerons without needing to forfeit differential travel.

Another useful feature is the facility to store gyro gain immediately: if you lack channels, you can set up the iGyro 1e when using a receiver output, then disconnect the gain input at the receiver; the set gain worth is now immediately stored. The receiver output previously used is now readily available once again for other functions.

The package is rounded off by two additional functions: frame-rate modification and Gyro-Sense x 4, which is designed for big, slow designs. All the parts employed in the iGyro 1e satisfy the very same high quality standards as the big iGyro systems, and the gadget is 100% “Made in Germany”. Although the iGyro 1e is an apparent choice for small designs, its quality means that it also guarantees the greatest standards of precision and security in valuable High-End models.

The iGyro 1e can be set up in any design where there is just a requirement to stabilise one axis, whether the design is a glider, a jet or a power design. The iGyro 1e's micro size even permits it to be squeezed into any F3B and F5J glider, and even in an RC design vehicle, which will then maintain its precise heading with terrific reliability!
