Losi And The JRX2
Gil Losi Jr. and his dad "Pops" started Team Losi offering homemade aftermarket radio control parts and devices at their local skatepark sandwich shop, turning it into a mini pastime shop. Over the next 10 years they bought the famous "Ranch Pit Shop" and devoted over three years to establish their first race-dedicated RC vehicle: the now-iconic JRX2. The initial JRX2, with its graphite chassis and 5-link suspension, pushed the borders of what a competitive RC racer should be and is understood today as one of the most innovative vehicles of all time.

Admiring the innovations that have shaped the RC neighborhood is one way enthusiasts all over can commemorate radio control. The new Mini-JRX2 integrates fond memories with a touch of present day. This ultra-scaled down variation of the JRX2 is designed as a homage to the memory of the initial JRX2. With the all-in-one box product packaging, initial trim plans, and old-school handling, motorists can experience what it was like all those years ago and either make new memories or revive the old ones.

For years, racing enthusiasts required a re-release of the JRX2 buggy, the initial vehicle that made Losi an around the world force to be considered, and now they get their dream in a 1/16th scale package. The Losi Mini JRX2 Buggy honors its roots by creating a mini buggy with a traditional look and 21st-century performance. With a 5-link rear suspension offering maximum grip in loose conditions, aluminum shocks, and era-specific ribbed front tires, and 4 row step pin rear tires, you get more from a Mini than ever in the past. It features a rear motor setup like the initial and three various trim plans that imitate the initial box art plans of the era, all in a total ready-to-run package.
