It's a scale jet that flies efficiently and handles like a sport aircraft — yet is also efficient in unbelievable aerobatics and leading speeds! However what really sets it apart is how simple it is to remove, fly, and land, which makes it the BEST choice for a first massive jet design. Assembly is fast and easy, with no glue needed. The light-weight, composite-reinforced EPO airframe is factory-finished in the now renowned Airplane Studio Style trim scheme from the popular 70mm design. And the eight factory-installed digital, metal-geared servos with ball-link equipped linkages, plus control surfaces with pinned hinges, provide crisp and precise control at every speed. Practical features include flaps, LED landing and navigation lights, and electric retracts with shock-absorbing, trailing-link struts on the nose and primary equipment so you can fly from grass and other surfaces with ease.

The BNF® Basic version includes a 12-blade 90mm fan, effective 6S-compatible brushless inrunner motor, and a 130-amp Bird™ Smart ESC that all collaborate with the expertly optimized ducting to provide an abundance of speed and thrust plus a turbine-like noise. With this power system, the Viper 90mm is capable of level flight tops speeds up to 120+ Miles Per Hour and offers fantastic vertical performance with SIX 4000mAh to 7000mAh batteries. It's also geared up with a factory-installed Spektrum™ AR637TA receiver including special AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies. When using compatible transmitters, the receiver and Smart ESC supply battery voltage, present, motor RPM and other telemetry information in real-time — together with optional-use motor reversing to reduce rollouts after landing and for other unique ground dealing with abilities. An ARF Plus version is also offered for pilots who choose to install their own choice of ducted fan unit, motor and ESC. Either way, for low-time to experienced jet pilots this design provides a massive EDF experience unlike any other!





 






Exclusive Technologies
This massive Viper design is geared up with special Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the impacts of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it look like you're flying an even larger aircraft. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limitations together with automated self-leveling that can be switched on and off at the flip of a switch to make this an easier to fly Viper! And if you don't wish to make it possible for the SAFE Select features, simply bind the receiver generally and just AS3X will be active.
 









Smart™ Technology
The special Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart ESC supplies a variety of real-time power system associated telemetry information consisting of motor RPM, present draw, overall flight battery voltage and more via compatible Smart receivers (consisting of the AR637TA set up in the BNF® Basic version) and Spektrum AirWare™ geared up transmitters (consisting of the DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20, and others) while you fly.
