The BNF® Basic variation includes a 12-blade 90mm fan, powerful 6S-compatible brushless inrunner motor, and a 130-amp Avian™ Smart ESC that all work together with the skillfully enhanced ducting to provide an abundance of speed and thrust plus a turbine-like noise. With this power system, the Viper 90mm is capable of level flight tops speeds approximately 120+ Miles Per Hour and offers fantastic vertical efficiency with SIX 4000mAh to 7000mAh batteries. It's also equipped with a factory-installed Spektrum™ AR637TA receiver featuring unique AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations. When utilizing suitable transmitters, the receiver and Smart ESC supply battery voltage, present, motor RPM and other telemetry information in real-time — along with optional-use motor reversing to reduce rollouts after landing and for other unique ground dealing with capabilities. An ARF Plus variation is also offered for pilots who choose to install their own option of ducted fan unit, motor and ESC. This large-scale Viper model is equipped with unique Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automated self-leveling that can be switched on and off at the flip of a switch to make this a much easier to fly Viper! Smart™ Technology
The unique Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart ESC provides a variety of real-time power system associated telemetry information including motor RPM, present draw, overall flight battery voltage and more through suitable Smart receivers (including the AR637TA installed in the BNF® Basic variation) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including the DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20, and others) while you fly. Plus, optional-use motor reversing can assist reduce rollout after landing and offers other unique ground dealing with capabilities (8+ channel transmitter required for SAFE select and motor reversing).
