The E-flite® Viper 90mm EDF Jet is the Most intelligent, best handling, and most convenient to fly large-scale design of the popular jet yet! It's a scale jet that flies smoothly and manages like a sport airplane — yet is also capable of amazing aerobatics and leading speeds! But what truly sets it apart is how easy it is to take off, fly, and land, which makes it the BEST choice for a first large-scale jet design. Assembly is quick and easy, without any glue required. The light-weight, composite-reinforced EPO airframe is factory-finished in the now renowned Aircraft Studio Style trim scheme from the popular 70mm design. And the 8 factory-installed digital, metal-geared servos with ball-link equipped linkages, plus control surface areas with pinned hinges, provide crisp and accurate control at every speed. Practical features include flaps, LED landing and navigation lights, and electric retracts with shock-absorbing, trailing-link struts on the nose and primary equipment so you can fly from grass and other surface areas with ease.

The BNF® Fundamental version includes a 12-blade 90mm fan, effective 6S-compatible brushless inrunner motor, and a 130-amp Bird™ Smart ESC that all collaborate with the skillfully optimized ducting to provide an abundance of speed and thrust plus a turbine-like sound. With this power system, the Viper 90mm is capable of level flight tops speeds as much as 120+ Miles Per Hour and provides excellent vertical performance with 6S 4000mAh to 7000mAh batteries. It's also equipped with a factory-installed Spektrum™ AR637TA receiver featuring exclusive AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations. When utilizing compatible transmitters, the receiver and Smart ESC supply battery voltage, present, motor RPM and other telemetry data in real-time — along with optional-use motor reversing to shorten rollouts after landing and for other special ground managing capabilities. An ARF Plus version is also available for pilots who choose to install their own choice of ducted fan unit, motor and ESC. Either way, for low-time to experienced jet pilots this design delivers a large-scale EDF experience unlike any other!





 






Exclusive Technologies
This large-scale Viper design is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. AS3X works behind the scenes to ravel the effects of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it appear like you're flying an even bigger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select provides pitch and bank angle limits along with automated self-leveling that can be switched on and off at the flip of a switch to make this a much easier to fly Viper! And if you don't want to make it possible for the SAFE Select features, merely bind the receiver typically and just AS3X will be active.
 









Smart™ Technology
The exclusive Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart ESC provides a variety of real-time power system associated telemetry data consisting of motor RPM, present draw, general flight battery voltage and more via compatible Smart receivers (consisting of the AR637TA installed in the BNF® Fundamental version) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (consisting of the DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20, and others) while you fly. Plus, optional-use motor reversing can assist shorten rollout after landing and provides other special ground managing capabilities (8+ channel transmitter required for SAFE select and motor reversing).
 



High-Performance EDF
The 12-blade 90mm fan, high-power brushless inrunner motor and 130-amp ESC integrate with your 6S 4000–7000mAh 30+C LiPo battery to provide excellent vertical performance and a wonderful speed range with practically rapid throttle action. There's even room to fit two SIXES 3200–5000mAh batteries so you can run them in parallel to attain class-leading performance and flight times.
