The Ultrix™ includes a unique, brand new design that delivers a flight experience unlike any other, specifically for models in the UMX™ (Ultra Micro eXtreme) class. This twin brushless motor-powered, delta wing airplane excels at smooth sport flying, basic aerobatics and even aggressive 3D — all in the same flight. Its incredible power-to-weight ratio offers hovering capability and unrestricted vertical performance. Differential thrust includes yaw control and the capability to perform sophisticated aerobatic maneuvers consisting of harriers, fantastic flat spins and more. Overview

The UMX™ Ultrix™ is a smooth handling, extremely flexible delta wing with aerobatic and 3D abilities that you may not expect based on its appearances alone. The twin brushless motors deliver an unbelievable power to weight ratio that provides good speed, lots of power to hover and unrestricted vertical performance. Differential thrust includes the capability to perform harriers, flat spins and more fantastic aerobatics. And extremely long lasting EPP building and construction makes this one of the toughest ultra micro models yet. The Ultrix deals with windy conditions well, assisted by unique AS3X® (Synthetic Stabilization – 3-aXis) innovation that works behind the scenes to smooth out the results of wind and turbulence for a locked-in feel — it's like you're flying a much larger airplane. Optional-use SAFE® (Sensing Unit Assisted Flight Envelope) Select innovation makes the Ultrix simple enough for low-time pilots to enjoy, and the ultra micro size and light-weight building and construction are suited for flying nearly anywhere. Competent pilots can let go inside your home in a space as little as a single basketball court, while big lawns, sports fields and RC fields make ideal outside flying websites for practically everybody. Fully factory-assembled, the Ultrix is prepared to fly within minutes of opening the box. Just add an inexpensive ONE 500mAh battery (EFLB5001S25) and bind it to a compatible Spektrum™ DSMX®/DSM2® equipped transmitter! You can even install the optional LED light package (EFLU6455) for enhanced visibility during daytime conditions and to fly at night!

With SAFE Select allowed, you get:

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These envelope limits keep the airplane from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent excessive climb or dive angles.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The airplane instantly returns to and holds level flight when the sticks are launched and in the center position. It's also helpful for keeping the wings level during takeoffs/launches and landings.

Easy Change Project
The simple procedure for assigning a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select functions on and off doesn't require any programs and takes simply a couple of seconds.
