Overview

The UMX™ Ultrix™ is a smooth handling, incredibly versatile delta wing with aerobatic and 3D abilities that you may not expect based upon its looks alone. The twin brushless motors deliver an unbelievable power to weight ratio that uses good speed, lots of power to hover and unrestricted vertical efficiency. Differential thrust adds the capability to perform harriers, flat spins and more amazing aerobatics. And incredibly resilient EPP building makes this one of the toughest ultra micro models yet. The Ultrix manages windy conditions well, assisted by unique AS3X® (Synthetic Stabilization – 3-aXis) innovation that works behind the scenes to ravel the impacts of wind and turbulence for a locked-in feel — it resembles you're flying a much bigger aircraft. Optional-use SAFE® (Sensing Unit Helped Flight Envelope) Select innovation makes the Ultrix easy enough for low-time pilots to enjoy, and the ultra micro size and lightweight building are fit for flying nearly anywhere. Knowledgeable pilots can cut loose indoors in a space as small as a single basketball court, while large yards, sports fields and RC fields make perfect outdoor flying sites for almost everybody. Completely factory-assembled, the Ultrix is prepared to fly within minutes of opening the box. This Bind-N-Fly Basic model is equipped with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX® receiver including AS3X (Synthetic Stabilization–3–aXis) innovation that works behind the scenes to ravel the impacts of wind and turbulence. The result is an increased sense of stability and precision that makes you feel like you're flying a much bigger, skillfully tuned aircraft.

If this is your first model of its type, or you want an additional margin of safety while acquainting yourself with the aircraft, you can make it possible for the optional-use SAFE® Select flight envelope security innovation developed into the receiver. No complex programming is required.

With SAFE Select allowed, you get:

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These envelope restricts keep the aircraft from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent extreme climb or dive angles.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The aircraft quickly goes back to and holds level flight when the sticks are launched and in the center position. It's also useful for keeping the wings level during takeoffs/launches and landings.

Easy Change Assignment
The easy treatment for appointing a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select functions on and off does not require any programming and takes just a few seconds.
