The E-flite® Turbo Lumber® Development 1.5m has been evolved into the Smartest, most convenient, capable, and long lasting Lumber yet! Popular features from the initial Lumber are all there: the shock-absorbing landing equipment with oversized, tundra-style wheels; optional-use float set and leading edge slats; functional slotted flaps; and an LED lighting system with landing, navigation and strobe lights. So are the enhancements that provided the Turbo Lumber® more performance and abilities, including a turboprop-styled nose, 3-blade prop and spinner, a more effective THREE and FOUR compatible power system, and a stiffer wing with long lasting, reliable metal-geared servos. Now the Turbo Lumber Development 1.5m adds a brand-new top hatch for quicker, simpler battery changes, plus integrated adapters for easier wing installation and removal. Enhanced landing equipment installs enhance the design's durability and STOL ability when flying from rough terrain. The proven Turbo Lumber power system is updated with an unique Spektrum™ Bird™ 60-amp Smart ESC, and the BNF® Fundamental version is equipped with an AR637TA receiver to provide full-range, real-time telemetry data including battery voltage, existing, motor RPM and more — plus motor reversing for special ground handling and other abilities — in addition to the benefits of AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies. Exclusive Technologies
The Turbo Lumber® Development 1.5m is equipped with unique Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to ravel the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it look like you're flying a much larger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select uses pitch and bank angle limitations in addition to automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch! And if you do not want to make it possible for the SAFE Select functions, merely bind the receiver typically and just AS3X will be active.
 



Smart Technology
Both the PNP and BNF® Fundamental versions of the Turbo Lumber® Development 1.5m are equipped with an unique Spektrum™ Bird™ 60-Amp Smart ESC that can provide a range of real-time power system associated telemetry data including motor RPM, existing, battery voltage and more by means of compatible Smart receivers (such as the AR637TA installed in the BNF Fundamental version) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, the iX12, iX20 and others) while you fly. It also features optional-use motor reversing to provide special ground handling and other abilities.
 







Versatile Gear Options
Thick yard, gravel courses, dirt routes — even regional lakes and ponds — you can fly from these and many other surface areas that are difficult for the majority of models of this size to manage. The more powerful, enhanced installs in the fuselage, plus shock-absorbing landing equipment equipped with oversized, tundra-style wheels and tires, absorbs the bumps of rough surface areas and supplies exceptional prop clearance. The included float set features dual water rudders for exceptional steering control. Whichever equipment option you pick to fly with, both are easy to install and can be swapped out in minutes.
 



STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) Capable
The Turbo Lumber® Development's wing is created with functions like drooped wingtips and functional slotted flaps, and accepts optional-use leading edge slats (included) for improved slow flight and STOL performance. These functions, in addition to the light-weight style and high-power brushless motor, make it possible to spring into the air or float down to land in as little as 2 feet or less.
 







Versatile Power
The factory-installed brushless power system features a Spektrum™ Bird™ 60-amp Smart ESC in addition to a specially-tuned motor and 3-blade prop that deliver an abundance of thrust with a THREE LiPo battery, or more power and unrestricted vertical performance with a 4S battery without the requirement for any modifications or upgrades. Plus, the easier top hatch and larger battery compartment makes it simpler to fit batteries from THREE 2200mAh to FOUR 5000mAh to accomplish a wide array of performance and flight times.
 



Versatile Durability
Composite-reinforced, hollow-core building with EPO product delivers a light-weight yet long lasting airframe.
