With a suitable receiver (such as the AR631 included with the BNF® Standard variation) and Smart or non-Smart batteries, the Smart Lite ESC can provide a range of real-time power system telemetry data consisting of motor RPM, current, battery voltage, and more to Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters. The AR631 receiver installed the BNF Standard variation also consists of special AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies, which help to make this a best "next step" or first warbird design for anybody ready to move up after successfully discovering to fly their first or 2nd RC plane. The BNF® Standard variation is equipped with special Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to ravel the impacts of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it appear like you're flying a much bigger plane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limitations together with automatic self-leveling that can be switched on and off at the flip of a switch! And if you don't wish to allow the SAFE Select functions, merely bind the receiver usually and only AS3X will be active.
