Overview
The E-flite® Wood® X 1.2m lets loose a new era of STOL plus 3D aerobatic capability. Based upon the very popular Wood 1.5m model but featuring a new wing style, oversized control surfaces plus a 3S and FOUR suitable power system, it provides an even larger flight envelope to provide a truly "mild to wild" experience. Hollow-core EPO building with composite support leads to a light-weight yet strong airframe that's capable of handling extreme aerobatic maneuvers while keeping the wing filling low for remarkable Brief Launch and Landing (STOL) and slow flight performance. It's also equipped with high-torque, metal-equipmented servos plus the shock-absorbing landing gear of the initial model so you can fly as aggressively as you desire from almost any surface. You can even set up the consisted of leading edge slats for improved slow flight performance, or the optional drifts (EFL5261, sold individually) so you can fly from water. eXtreme Maneuverability
The Wood® X 1.2m features a new wing style with a shortened span plus much bigger ailerons and flaps, in addition to an enlarged elevator and rudder. Double-beveled hinge lines make it possible to deflect every control surface, including the flaps that can now take a trip in both instructions, to high angles for impressive control and severe 3D aerobatic capability. Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These envelope limits keep the aircraft from rolling or pitching upside down. They also avoid extreme climb or dive angles.

The aircraft instantly goes back to and holds level flight when the sticks are launched and in the center position. It's also valuable for keeping the wings level during takeoffs/launches and landings.

Easy Switch Assignment—No Complex Programming Required
The easy treatment for designating a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select functions on and off doesn't need any complex shows and takes simply a couple of seconds.

If you do not want to make it possible for the SAFE Select functions, simply bind the receiver typically and it will work like a standard AS3X receiver.
