Due to its special inverted gull wing design, the F4U Corsair is one of the most recognizable and renowned U.S. Navy and Marine fighter airplane of World War II. This updated and upgraded variation of the E-flite® F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m features a factory-installed three and 4S suitable power system with a special 70A Smart Lite ESC to provide more abilities and performance. The BNF® Standard variation also consists of a telemetry-capable AR631 receiver with both AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations that make it easier to fly than ever in the past. The airframe is now completed in the renowned "all blue" trim plan and consists of different decal sheets to customize it with militaries, NAVY, and other markings. Factory-installed rotating withdraws with strut covers, plus operational flaps, take your scale warbird experience to another level!

It's better equipped for scale-like flying and sport flying, PLUS uses greater speed and aerobatic abilities than in the past — and consists of optional-use SAFE® Select innovation that makes it easier to fly (BNF® Standard variation just). The factory-installed brushless power system features a 70-amp Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart Lite ESC plus a specially-tuned motor and 4-blade prop. This mix delivers an abundance of thrust with a three LiPo battery, or more speed and almost unrestricted vertical performance with a 4S battery. The ESC can supply a range of real-time power system related telemetry data including motor RPM, existing, battery voltage and more – with Smart and non-Smart batteries – via suitable receivers (including the AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters while you fly. Its lightweight yet durable, composite-reinforced and fully-molded EPO airframe has an abundance of scale detail including panel lines and a pilot figure. The BNF® Standard variation is equipped with special Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. AS3X works behind the scenes to ravel the impacts of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it look like you're flying a much larger aircraft. Optional-use SAFE Select uses pitch and bank angle limits along with automated self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch! And if you don't want to enable the SAFE Select functions, just bind the receiver typically and just AS3X will be active.
