This updated and upgraded variation of the E-flite® F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m includes a factory-installed three and four suitable power system with an exclusive 70A Smart Lite ESC to provide more capabilities and efficiency. The BNF® Fundamental variation also includes a telemetry-capable AR631 receiver with both AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies that make it simpler to fly than ever before. It's better equipped for scale-like flying and sport flying, PLUS offers higher speed and aerobatic capabilities than before — and includes optional-use SAFE® Select innovation that makes it simpler to fly (BNF® Fundamental variation only). The factory-installed brushless power system includes a 70-amp Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart Lite ESC plus a specially-tuned motor and 4-blade prop. This mix provides an abundance of thrust with a three LiPo battery, or more speed and almost limitless vertical efficiency with a four battery. The ESC can supply a range of real-time power system associated telemetry data including motor RPM, current, battery voltage and more – with Smart and non-Smart batteries – by means of suitable receivers (including the AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters while you fly. Its light-weight yet long lasting, composite-reinforced and fully-molded EPO airframe has an abundance of scale detail including panel lines and a pilot figure. Exclusive Technologies
The BNF® Fundamental variation is equipped with unique Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much bigger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be switched on and off at the flip of a switch! And if you don't want to allow the SAFE Select functions, just bind the receiver typically and only AS3X will be active.
