Development of a Classic
The style of the "Twin Beech" D18 showed so versatile that Beechcraft Airplane Corporation eventually produced 32 versions — and more than 9,000 total aircraft — from 1937 to 1969. They served in a wide range of functions from passenger transport, to mail carrier, and even as a military fitness instructor for navigators and bombardiers. The E-flite® Beechcraft D18 1.5m is the most hassle-free, well-equipped, and easiest-to-fly scale model of the special basic air travel aircraft yet! Its fully-molded EPO airframe is completed with a traditional trim plan and is outfitted with many scale information. Practical features such as LED navigation lights, retractable landing equipment, and flaps further increase its realism. The three and four suitable power system consists of an unique Spektrum™ Avian™ Double Smart ESC, and the BNF® Basic version is also equipped with an AR631 receiver to provide real-time telemetry information in addition to AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. Exclusive Technologies
This is the only Beechcraft D18 model equipped with both exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. AS3X works behind the scenes to ravel the effects of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger aircraft. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits in addition to automated self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch, making this the most convenient to fly D18 yet! And if you don't wish to make it possible for the SAFE Select features, simply bind the receiver typically and only AS3X will be active.
