That’s since its AS3X® system has been custom-tuned to provide stability when you need it and dexterity when you desire it. The result is a scale aerobatic flight experience much like that of a skillfully tuned giant-scale model. And the best news of all is that you can enjoy it right now since there’s no assembly needed.

SCALE CHARACTER
The UMX™ Pitts® S-1S is developed so that the unique scale character comes through without compromising the efficiency advantages of a light wing loading. Not just is detail like rib and stringer detents apparent, even the landing equipment and tail wheel represent the popular features of an aerobatic platform many major pilots still utilize to this day for aerobatic competition.

HIGH-OUTPUT BRUSHLESS POWER SYSTEM
The high-output brushless power system installed includes an 180BL, 3000Kv outrunner motor and an E-flite® 5 x 2.75 prop. Together they provide adequate thrust for reasonable scale aerobatic efficiency.

CUTTING-EDGE ELECTRONIC DEVICES
From the solid control of AS3X® system innovation, to the crisp response of efficiency direct long-throw servos, whatever about the UMX Pitts S-1S has to do with providing a solid scale aerobatic experience. The Artificial Stability – 3 aXis (AS3X®) system established by Horizon Pastime is an electronic development that makes the RC flight experience much better than ever. By establishing a unique combination of multi-axis sensors and unique software application, the AS3X system in the UMX™ Pitts® S-1S ultra micro biplane works behind the scenes while flying to provide instant mindset corrections when turbulence, torque and pointer stalls haphazardly disrupt the way you wish to fly. The apparent benefit is an aircraft that flies exceptionally smooth but likewise provides control that feels natural and utterly accurate.
