Estes Boosted Bertha Model Rocket Kit

A sport rocket at its core, the second booster of this multistage flying model rocket will press this Bertha skyward, reaching two times the height of Huge Bertha. The Boosted Bertha will reach elevations of 1000 feet when powered with an Estes C6-0 engine in the booster phase and an Estes C6-5 engine in the primary rocket. After the first phase fires up, the booster jettisons and carefully tumbles back to earth. Once the rocket reaches apogee, the rocket will release the recovery system - a colorful 18 inch parachute. This supplies the Boosted Bertha a light landing so that it can be quickly prepared for another launch.

Quality Estes body tubes, laser cut wood fins, a molded plastic nose cone, and easy-to-apply waterslide decals produce a complete day of structure satisfaction. Once painted to excellence, this Bertha is an essential for any rocket collector!

WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, pencil, ruler, sandpaper, carpenters glue, plastic cement, pastime knife, masking tape, clear tape, primer (white), paint (orange, white), clear coat (optional). Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.

WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (offered independently): Estes Porta-Pad II launch pad with launch controller, Estes model rocket engines, recovery wadding and 4 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries (not included).
