Estes Boosted Bertha Model Rocket Kit

A sport rocket at its core, the 2nd booster of this multistage flying model rocket will press this Bertha skyward, reaching two times the height of Big Bertha. The Boosted Bertha will reach elevations of 1000 feet when powered with an Estes C6-0 engine in the booster phase and an Estes C6-5 engine in the main rocket. After the first phase sparks, the booster jettisons and gently tumbles back to earth. As soon as the rocket reaches apogee, the rocket will release the recovery system - a colorful 18 inch parachute. This supplies the Boosted Bertha a light landing so that it can be quickly gotten ready for another launch.

Quality Estes body tubes, laser cut wood fins, a molded plastic nose cone, and easy-to-apply waterslide decals make for a complete day of building satisfaction. As soon as painted to perfection, this Bertha is a must-have for any rocket collector!

WHAT YOU NEED TO DEVELOP: Scissors, pencil, ruler, sandpaper, carpenters glue, plastic cement, pastime knife, masking tape, clear tape, guide (white), paint (orange, white), clear coat (optional). Tools, building and completing products not included.

WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold individually): Estes Porta-Pad II launch pad with launch controller, Estes model rocket engines, recovery wadding and 4 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries (not consisted of).
