These inserts include a Competitors Cut, closed cell inner foam, with a Medium conventional or open cell density outer foam. The closed cell inner foam is super thick, water proof, is not temperature sensitive and is very durable. The conventional outer foam is not temperature sensitive, however it is not water proof.

The "Compensation Cut" inner has three grooves machined into the location where the outer and inner meet. The machined grooves allow for the outer foam to collapse into them resulting in a a lot more responsive tire.

The 4.50" is the Middle Size inner in the Lil' Nova Dual Phase foam line and designed for 1.9 tires and much heavier rc vehicles.
