One of the important tuning options for 1/10th off-road is front tire size, compound, and configuration. JConcepts has added a thicker sidewall front buggy tire option to the arsenal for racers looking to adjust to changing conditions on the fly. As the traction continues to build, the thicker sidewall resists flex and helps the vehicle turn smoother and drive a more consistent arc through high-speed sweeping corners and sharp 180 degree turns. The same race winning Smoothie 2 tire carcass is maintained which have brought countless race wins to the team since its release.
The thick sidewall version, as indicated with the part number 4047 bossed on the sidewall, also has inner ribs added to further the support. The tire includes the popular Dirt-Tech closed cell insert that is recognizable by the gray color with JConcepts designed intricate inner and outer cuts.
