J Concepts F2 - Rustler Vxl Clear Body With Rear Spoiler

The F2 body by JConcepts has been a pattern setting design because its release on the buggy population. Now, Traxxas Rustler drivers can drop-on a race preferred design to their bash lorry of option. As they state, the slate was once again swiped clean and the F2 was a ground up type started in the computer and eventually finished by hand. One of the key functions is an arrow based design where the front is much narrower than the rear.

The narrower front-end appears on-point and with a brand new grille and headlight layout with 4 included grille choices. The imprint of the nose draws in the truck enthusiast without giving up on the futuristic twist and Finnisher heritage. Securing the front shock tower location is made with a standard shape but includes new louver positioning and readily available air-release functions located simply in front of the main taxi.

The cab is important, not only for performance but to set off the F2 design with angular roofing system and parallel window design. The popular side-window treatment has been once again integrated into the design for maximum coverage. The new body includes the conventional Finnisher "V step-downs" in the bed location that makes it identifiable to the savvy racer.

The tail of the body has been lowered with an upper and lower shift making the back a more durable piece even with light-weight materials. The F2 includes 2 spoilers, one for high-bite conditions and another taller version for low or medium bite conditions. The spoilers are durable and with correct cutting and included hardware bolt straight to the back of the new shell.

Wheel wells can make or break a truck body and the F2 delivers on smaller sized openings which have actually revealed to close-up the body and reduce air-draft inside while turning and jumping. A minor flare to each offers some structure and rigidness to the panels and fine information the design. Between the wheel wells an F2 specific, double drop treatment has been chiseled and tucked into the hourglass shape of the rear-end. The double drop blends into a rocker panel body line which provides some stability to the layout and provides that critical chassis clearance.
