J Concepts Dr10 Wheelie Bar Assembly

Acceleration and power combined with traction traditionally lead to a wheel stand, controlling this can ultimately determine wins and losses. JConcepts has designed a wheelie bar for the Team Associated DR10 which delivers on looks, versatility, and performance. A successful design starts with a solid mounting location to resist twist and flex.

The aluminum rear wheelie bar mount designed to fit into place provides solid placement. The anodized black with silver chamfer highlighting give the amazing look but more importantly replaces a stock plastic item which shores up a huge issue with the stock wheelie bar assembly. Backing into the design, attaching steel ball-ends to the assembly works wonders when connected to genuine Team Associated ball-cups threaded into aluminum tubes, steel Fin turnbuckles and secured with 3mm jam nuts to hold adjustment and stability.

The design continues with a left and right support for the adjustable post which also connect via steel ball-ends and Team Associated ball-cups. Behind the posts, the adjustable wheel mount is bolted to a genuine carbon fiber plate which lines the bottom of the entire wheel bar and mounts under the chassis of the DR10. The wheel mount is aluminum and can be rotated for a different height setting for the wheels. The wheels themselves are precision delrin material which have been bored out for heavy-duty sized and included bearings. The wheels with bearings assemble toward the mount with sleeve and 3mm hardware.

Altogether, the sturdy wheelie bar is strong and resists flex found on the standard bar which helps the racer stay straight and toward the finish line. With a carbon base, aluminum support structure, steel Fin Turnbuckles, anodized and beautiful mounts, posts, features and delrin wheels, steel bearings and 3mm hardware, the JConcepts wheelie bar is a must have upgrade for the serious drag racer.
