After various requests, JConcepts responded to clients with a modified off-road variation of the Corvair car. The Lakewood is specifically developed by the team to have stiff lines, scale qualities, and vested off-road appeal. The car scales well to the 12.3" wheelbase automobiles discovered typically in RC and includes somewhat bigger wheel wells to house crawling tires like the Tusk, Landmines, and Ruptures.

The Lakewood has significant undercuts, particularly to display the front headlight and bezel information that is optimized with double headlights.
