The SCX10™ III Base Camp™ 4WD incorporates all of the crucial parts that make SCX10™ III vehicles so efficient on the routes. For bashers on a budget plan, Axial® has kept expenses down by including the traditional, single-speed transmission and putting a couple of less molded details on the body. The Base Camp™ 4WD still provides the high efficiency you expect from an Axial® spider. The single-speed transmission's low center of mass even assists it stick tighter to the routes, and the new body design has an unique, awesome scale look.
The stiffness of the SCX10™ III Base Camp™ 4WD steel C-channel chassis minimizes frame flexing and increases the precision of suspension movement. A full set of ball bearings and all-metal internal equipments give the transmission strength and sturdiness. The enhanced suspension includes all-metal links and oil-filled shocks that can be tuned to find to the best dampening rate for any surface.

Equipped with a high efficiency, single-speed transmission, the SCX10™ III Base Camp 4WD has a low center of mass for stability over courses and routes. The transmission also includes a complete set of ball bearings and all-metal internal equipments for strength and sturdiness. The internal equipments can be changed to allow for usage of our optional Standard Axle Conversion Package (AXI238000).
The front suspension geometry of the SCX10™ III Base Camp 4WD is enhanced to minimize bump steer, while the rear 4-link minimizes torque twist.
All links are metal, and all pivot points are on stainless steel balls that supply resilient, long-lasting efficiency.
The oil-filled shocks have aluminum threaded bodies and a single coilover spring. The shocks are tunable for attaining the best dampening rate. Their increased bore size also produces more fluid volume for better efficiency.

User-adjustable functions include guiding and throttle trims, steering rate, and throttle limitations. The transmitter's foam-covered steering wheel allows no-slip control.
