The ready-to-run Axial® SCX10™ II Deadbolt™ 4WD is an affordable, highly capable, and easily upgradeable RC rock crawler that's perfectly suited for both skilled travelers and pastime newbies. It combines rugged scale looks with the remarkable handling of the trail-ready SCX10 II chassis, in a 12" brief wheelbase setup that's agile enough to take on twisty trails.

The SCX10 II stays one of the best 1/10 scale rock crawler chassis ever developed. This high-strength, C-channel chassis is made of long lasting steel with cross braces for reinforcement and rigidity. The contoured skid plate considerably lowers problems, and the streamlined style makes upkeep quick and easy.

Highly adaptable, the SCX10 II Deadbolt 4WD also features an adjustable wheelbase, adjustable body mount, adjustable bumper mounts with swaybar mounting points, and mounting points for an optional 2-speed transmission and servo winch. The included LCX AX10™ transmission, with a three gear design, heavy-duty slipper, sealed gear cover, and all-metal gears, accepts a wide variety of gearing choices. Its overall ratio can be adjusted using various pinion and spur gear choices for extremely high speed or competition-level crawling speed.

Just as a full-size truck has its steering box located on the frame, Axial® puts the Deadbolt's adjustable servo mount on the SCX10 II chassis frame and permits a wide variety of servos to be used. Universal joint axles permit as much as 45° of steering and supply an efficient, high-performance drivetrain. The single-piece AR44™ front and rear axles feature a molded truss for extreme toughness. The pinion gear is 6mm above center for greater ground clearance and enhanced driveshaft angles. Metal pet bones and helical cut internal gears are standard devices, and the drivetrain includes full, high-quality ball bearings.

The oil-filled shocks, with threaded bodies and a single coilover spring, can be tuned to meet the moistening demands of any trail. Practical shock hoops with multiple mounting positions let you change the suspension for optimum efficiency. S30 substance, 4.7" x 1.9" large Nitto Path Grappler M/T tires on technique 307 Hole wheels supply sufficient ground clearance for off-road tracks and have a large block tread pattern for excellent bite in all terrain.

With a reasonable driver figure and outside cage complete with light bar (LED lights offered individually), the Axial® SCX10 II Deadbolt 4WD provides scale enjoyment and class-leading efficiency in a convenient, ready-to-run bundle. Almost all electronics, including a Spektrum™ SLT2 2.4GHz radio system, motor, and ESC, are provided and installed. ADJUSTABLE WHEELBASE
The Deadbolt SCX10 II chassis is developed at a 12.0" wheelbase length but is easily adjusted to either a 11.4" or 12.3" wheelbase (optional link kits offered individually). Axial developed the chassis so that all the wheelbase adjustability happens out back without compromising front-end suspension geometry. Easy removal and setup of the suspension links and altering the drive shaft length permits a much easier way to change the wheelbase.
 



LCX AX10™ TRANSMISSION
The proven LCX AX10 transmission features a three gear design, heavy-duty slipper, sealed gear cover, and all-metal gears. It accepts a wide variety of gearing choices. The overall ratio can be adjusted using various pinion and spur gear choices, allowing extremely high speed or competition-level crawling speed.
 







4-LINK REAR SUSPENSION
The suspension geometry utilizes a 4-link style for the rear which is optimized to minimize axle guide and torque twist. It also aids with steep off-camber climbs by having the appropriate quantity of anti-squat and roll characteristics.
 



WB8 HD WILDBOAR™ DRIVESHAFTS
WB8 HD Wildboar™ front and rear driveshafts have a larger size cross pin (2x11mm) in addition to an M4 screw shaft (2mm hex drive) for included strength. A center splined slider drifts in between each end and features included product to minimize flex and tiredness.
 






AR44™ HIGH PINION AXLE

METHOD 307 HOLE 1.9" WHEELS
Officially licensed METHOD 307 Hole 1.9" Wheels offer durability and clean looks. The Hole features a simulated beadlock ring using a strategically placed under-cut on the wheel's outer lip.
 







NITTO TRAIL GRAPPLER M/T 1.9" TIRES
The S30 substance, 4.7" (119.4mm) x 1.9" (48.2mm) large Nitto Path Grappler M/T tires included with the SCX10 II Deadbolt supply sufficient ground clearance for off-road tracks. The big block tread deals excellent bite in all surface.
 



WATER-RESISTANT RECEIVER BOX
Located on the side plates, the receiver box permits simple gain access to and lowers the center of gravity. 3 silicone seals are included: one for the antenna, one for the servo wires (includes three slots for three channels), and one that serves as a gasket for the receiver box cover.
