Overview
Fast, rugged and factory-built, the 2S LiPo-compatible ARRMA® GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR comes ready to slam in any surface. This version features new devices that further increases the initial beast truck’s already remarkable performance and durability.

The GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR Monster Truck is DEVELOPED QUICK, DEVELOPED TOUGH — built for exciting bashing speeds and extreme, all-terrain resilience. New features to improve its unstoppable performance consist of a more powerful chassis and maintained hinge pin plates; steering with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and moving equipment mesh; and rubber shielded bearings throughout.

The beast truck now likewise consists of the Spektrum™ SLT3™ transmitter and SLR300 receiver. The transmitter is ergonomically designed for long periods of fatigue-free bashing and has a foam wheel for precise fingertip control plus an enhanced hand grip and trigger feel. New bashers will be able to set throttle limits at 50% or 75% up until they are ready to use the complete speed potential. The SLT3™ works with Tactic® SLT™ receivers to run other RTR cars you might own, and consists of a third channel to control optional features such as lights and winches on models that have them.

It maintains the innovative modular style refined by ARRMA® engineers for simple component gain access to and upkeep. The power module, with enhanced dirt management, includes a MEGA 550 motor, motor plate, slipper clutch assembly and equipment cover. The power module can be removed from the chassis as a complete system by removing simply one screw. The power module can then be removed, allowing you to pivot the gearbox cases for differential gain access to. The GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR comes brushless-ready with 37T 1.35mod diffs with silicone O-rings. The large equipments can withstand huge torque, and internal metal equipments have been chosen for dependability during extreme bashing.

Its full-time 4WD transmission uses strong front, rear, and centerline telescopic driveshafts that can’t be lost during heavy impacts, unlike dogbones. An easy, dependable, responsive steering assembly matches the ultra-reliable drive system and features a servo horn with built-in servo saver. The GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR consists of the waterproof Spektrum™ SPMS650 digital servo for 20% more torque than the previous version’s ADS-5 servo.

The self-bleeding, oil-filled shocks, now with silicone O-rings, use a tried and tested, coil-over style for easy upkeep and fantastic handling. Their ingenious rod-end has a molded-in spring perch for extra strength. High chassis guards restrict the amount of dirt and debris that can enter into the chassis tub. Shock-absorbing loops keep the front and rear bumpers secured to the chassis, using defense versus heavy impacts.

Tough, multi-spoke black MT wheels with dBoots® Fortress™ MT tires offer the GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR efficient traction for bashing on nearly any surface. Several battery types can be utilized with the hook-and-loop installing, from 6-cell NiMH packs to a TWO block pack. This version includes a Dynamite® 3300 mAh 8.4V 7-cell Speedpack® 2 Hump NiMH battery that provides 35% more run time compared to the 2400mAh pack of its predecessor.
