Overview
Fast, rugged and factory-built, the 2S LiPo-compatible ARRMA® GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR comes ready to slam in any terrain. This version includes new devices that even more increases the original beast truck’s currently remarkable efficiency and durability.

The GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR Monster Truck is DEVELOPED QUICKLY, DEVELOPED HARD — constructed for interesting slamming speeds and severe, all-terrain durability. New includes to boost its unstoppable efficiency consist of a more powerful chassis and maintained hinge pin plates; guiding with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and sliding gear mesh; and rubber shielded bearings throughout.

The beast truck now also includes the Spektrum™ SLT3™ transmitter and SLR300 receiver. The transmitter is ergonomically designed for extended periods of fatigue-free slamming and has a foam wheel for precise fingertip control plus an enhanced hand grip and trigger feel. New bashers will have the ability to set throttle limits at 50% or 75% till they are ready to utilize the full speed potential. The SLT3™ works with Strategy® SLT™ receivers to run other RTR automobiles you may own, and includes a 3rd channel to control optional functions such as lights and winches on models that have them.

It keeps the ingenious modular design perfected by ARRMA® engineers for simple element access and maintenance. The power module, with enhanced dirt management, consists of a MEGA 550 motor, motor plate, slipper clutch assembly and gear cover. The power module can be separated from the chassis as a complete unit by getting rid of simply one screw. With the power module got rid of, the slipper clutch can be reached easily for modifications by getting 3 screws that connect the gear cover. The gear ratio can be finely tuned as the power module now uses a sliding motor mesh design.

A two-piece molding screwed to the truck’s chassis works as its electronics module, including a water resistant receiver box, servo install and ESC tray. The SLR300 receiver installs inside the receiver box for security from dirt and wetness. The ultra-compact ESC is screwed to the top of the module, allowing fast access to the on/off switch, while the servo installs to the side. The differential module homes each differential unit in an ingenious yoke design. Just eight screws require to be removed to launch the front and rear yokes. The power module can then be separated, allowing you to pivot the gearbox cases for differential access. The GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR comes brushless-ready with 37T 1.35mod diffs with silicone O-rings. The big equipments can stand up to big torque, and internal metal equipments have been chosen for reliability throughout severe bashing.

Its full-time 4WD transmission uses strong front, back, and centerline telescopic driveshafts that can’t be lost throughout heavy effects, unlike dogbones. An easy, trustworthy, responsive guiding assembly complements the ultra-reliable drive system and includes a servo horn with built-in servo saver. The GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR includes the water resistant Spektrum™ SPMS650 digital servo for 20% more torque than the previous version’s ADS-5 servo.

The self-bleeding, oil-filled shocks, now with silicone O-rings, utilize an attempted and checked, coil-over design for simple maintenance and fantastic handling. Their innovative rod-end has a molded-in spring perch for extra durability. High chassis guards limit the quantity of dirt and debris that can enter the chassis tub. Several battery types can be used with the hook-and-loop installing, from 6-cell NiMH packs to a TWO block pack. This version features a Dynamite® 3300 mAh 8.4V 7-cell Speedpack® 2 Bulge NiMH battery that offers 35% more run time compared to the 2400mAh pack of its predecessor.
