Overview
Quick, rugged and factory-built, the TWO LiPo-compatible ARRMA® GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR comes prepared to bash in any surface. This variation features brand-new devices that further increases the original beast truck’s already outstanding performance and durability.

The GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR Beast Truck is DESIGNED QUICK, DESIGNED HARD — constructed for interesting slamming speeds and extreme, all-terrain toughness. New features to boost its unstoppable performance include a stronger chassis and kept hinge pin plates; steering with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and moving gear mesh; and rubber protected bearings throughout.

The beast truck now also includes the Spektrum™ SLT3™ transmitter and SLR300 receiver. The transmitter is ergonomically developed for extended periods of fatigue-free slamming and has a foam wheel for accurate fingertip control plus an enhanced hand grip and trigger feel. New bashers will be able to set throttle limitations at 50% or 75% up until they are prepared to use the complete speed potential. The SLT3™ works with Tactic® SLT™ receivers to run other RTR vehicles you may own, and includes a 3rd channel to manage optional features such as lights and winches on models that have them.

It maintains the ingenious modular design perfected by ARRMA® engineers for simple component gain access to and upkeep. The power module, with enhanced dirt management, includes a MEGA 550 motor, motor plate, slipper clutch assembly and gear cover. The power module can be detached from the chassis as a complete unit by getting rid of just one screw. With the power module removed, the slipper clutch can be reached easily for adjustments by securing 3 screws that connect the gear cover. The gear ratio can be carefully tuned as the power module now uses a sliding motor mesh design.

The SLR300 receiver mounts inside the receiver box for security from dirt and moisture. The ultra-compact ESC is screwed to the top of the module, enabling fast access to the on/off switch, while the servo mounts to the side. Their innovative rod-end has a molded-in spring perch for additional strength. High chassis guards limit the quantity of dirt and debris that can get into the chassis tub. Shock-absorbing loops keep the front and rear bumpers secured to the chassis, using defense versus heavy impacts.

Tough, multi-spoke black MT wheels with dBoots® Fortress™ MT tires provide the GRANITE™ 4X4 MEGA RTR reliable traction for slamming on practically any surface. Several battery types can be used with the hook-and-loop mounting, from 6-cell NiMH packs to a TWO block pack. This variation includes a Dynamite® 3300 mAh 8.4V 7-cell Speedpack® 2 Hump NiMH battery that supplies 35% more run time compared to the 2400mAh pack of its predecessor.
