Precision aluminum, hard steel and composite products come together for an easy-to-maintain, super-durable car design that's now updated for even higher efficiency and durability.
The GRANITE™ 4X4 THREE BLX RTR is DEVELOPED FAST, DEVELOPED TOUGH — constructed for interesting bashing speeds and extreme, all-terrain durability. New includes that enhance its unstoppable efficiency include a stronger chassis and maintained hinge pin plates; steering with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and moving equipment mesh; and rubber-shielded bearings throughout.
It also now includes a Spektrum™ SLT3™ transmitter and SLR300 receiver. The transmitter is ergonomically designed for long periods of fatigue-free bashing and has a foam wheel for exact fingertip control, plus an enhanced hand grip and trigger feel. New bashers will have the ability to set throttle limits at 50% or 75% till they are all set to utilize the complete speed potential. The SLT3™ works with Technique® SLT™ receivers to run other RTR vehicles you may own, and includes a 3rd channel to manage optional features such as lights and winches on models that have them.
ARRMA® now powers the GRANITE™ 4X4 THREE BLX with a brushless system including its BLX100 ESC and the Spektrum™ Firma™ 3200Kv brushless motor. The mix offers unbelievable torque, acceleration and speed. The transmission and chassis are ruggedly engineered to maximize the electronics' power.
It has the innovative modular design improved by ARRMA® engineers for simple component access and upkeep. The power module, with enhanced dirt management, consists of the motor with ARRMA® heatsink and cooling fan, plus motor plate, slipper clutch assembly and equipment cover. The power module can be separated from the chassis as a complete system by getting rid of simply one screw. With the power module eliminated, the slipper clutch can be reached easily for adjustments by securing three screws that attach the equipment cover. The equipment ratio can be finely tuned as the power module now uses a sliding motor mesh design.
A two-piece molding screwed to the truck's chassis works as its electronics module, including a water resistant receiver box, servo mount and ESC tray. The SLR300 receiver installs inside the receiver box for defense from dirt and moisture. The ultra-compact ESC is screwed to the top of the module, permitting fast access to the on/off switch, while the servo installs to the side. All three parts can be removed together, rapidly and easily.
The differential module houses each differential system in an ingenious yoke design. Only 8 screws need to be removed to launch the front and rear yokes. The power module can then be separated, permitting you to pivot the transmission cases for differential access. The GRANITE™ 4X4 THREE BLX RTR comes brushless-ready with 37T 1.35mod diffs with silicone O-rings. The big gears can hold up against substantial torque, and internal metal gears have been chosen for dependability throughout extreme bashing.
Its full-time 4WD transmission uses strong front, back, and centerline telescopic driveshafts that can't be lost throughout heavy impacts, unlike dogbones. A basic, trustworthy, responsive steering assembly complements the ultra-reliable drive system and includes a servo horn with built-in servo saver. The GRANITE™ 4X4 THREE BLX RTR includes the waterproof Spektrum™ SPMS651 metal-geared digital servo for 15% more torque than the previous variation's ADS-7M servo.
The self-bleeding, oil-filled shocks, now with silicone O-rings, utilize an attempted and checked, coil-over design for basic upkeep and amazing handling. Their innovative rod-end has a molded-in spring perch for extra durability. Prolonged height dirt protectors and a close-fitting body limit the amount of dirt and debris that can enter into the chassis tub. Front and rear bumpers offer defense against impacts.
