Presenting the AKA Diamante 1/8 Truggy race tire! Based off AKA's counterpart buggy tire, the Diamante for truggy has been crafted for hard-packed, dirty, blown-out track conditions.
Diamante development begun by taking a look at the key elements to developing a winning tire for today's racetracks: bump handling, longevity, and grip. To combat the bumps and ruts, AKA used their most current carcass style discovered on the race winning Truggy Scribble; this carcass style has been optimized for bumpy track conditions. Furthermore, micro-pins at the outer edges lower impatience in the bumps. The Diamante is AKA's most thick tread pattern tire to date ensuring optimum runtime for bashers and racers alike. Two key style elements add to overall grip. The rectangle-shaped lugs have been positioned with the brief side facing the direction of the tire's rotation. Hence, providing the lugs optimal support under load for increased forward bite. A diamond like pattern in between the lugs provide the Diamante unmatched grip in a little dirty conditions which typically takes place towards completion of a long main event. Competitors can expect the AKA Diamante Truggy tire to be the next "go-to" tire in their arsenal.
The Diamante is currently offered in AKA's two popular winter season rubber compounds: Super Soft for watered tracks and Super Soft Long Wear for more abrasive dry tracks. Most current generation closed cell foam inserts included.
