AKA's Void tires are a brand-new spin on slicks for your 1/10 race buggy. Best fit for indoor off-road clay tracks with very little dust on the surface, the slick design takes full advantage of the contact spot between the tire and track surface leading to increased general grip. Deep space carcass has been improved for much better drivability and consistency.
For the first time, AKA has developed a single front tire that can be utilized on either your 2WD or 4WD buggy. The uneven front sidewalls likewise allow the user to choose how to mount the tire to the wheel: mount the stiffer sidewall to the outside of the buggy in high speed, high traction conditions to reduce the chance of the tire folding over and traction rolling, or use the softer sidewall to the outdoors for more aggressive steering. The stiffer sidewall can be easily recognized by its special lettering: Rather of the industry standard raised lettering, deep space is debossed into the sidewall.
To optimize efficiency, V3 front foam inserts are included with the Voids. The V3 foams have actually been formulated to increase foam density leading to a harder more durable foam while keeping weight at a minimum. In addition, the V3 foams do not have outer radial grooves and have a thicker internal flute. Deep space tire and V3 foam is a winning mix for increased corner speed and durability.
