VRD CARBON SET
The Vanquish Products VRD Carbon Kit is our very first competition level platform brought to life by a few of the market's most knowledgeable designers in the RC rock crawling sector.  Using an all brand-new Lightweight Spec VFD Transmission and upgraded F10 competition influenced portal axles the VRD Carbon Kit is a highly competitive, foreseeable and versatile platform.  The heart of the VRD Carbon Kit is a matte surface 3mm thick pair of carbon fiber frame rails mated to the 6 degree flat skid plate.  The molded chassis elements and skid plate place the light-weight specification VFD transmission as low as possible into the VRD chassis.  For the very first time the front F10 Portal axle is geared up with a servo on axle and 4-link.  Front and rear axles include weighted brass tube inserts in addition to the front alloy knuckle weights to keep the center of gravity as low as possible, equating to a high efficiency driving experience.

Chassis

The Vanquish Products VRD Carbon chassis is geared up with all brand-new molded chassis elements that offer a tunable platform to adjust to the most requiring surface.  Several shock and body mounting positions integrated with minimalistic front/rear interchangeable bumpers make body mounting and fitment simple.  Stamped aluminum rock sliders offer a flat location for electronic devices and/or battery mounting and are able to support and protect your body.  

Drivetrain

The center of the VRD Carbon Kit is the brand-new light-weight specification VFD transmission.  Geared up with a lightweight machined aluminum motor plate, aluminum motor plate standoffs, while leaving out the cosmetic VFD tunnel for a high efficiency appearance.  Internally the VFD is geared up with machined aluminum bearing plates and machined light-weight chromoly gears.  Each internal equipment has been re-designed to be as light-weight as possible dropping the weight of the general transmission but keeping a high level of resilience.  The T-Case has a built in 21% overdrive.  

The Front F10 Portal axle has overdrive portal gears while the Rear F10 portal axle has the basic ratio gears, integrated with the VFD overdrive the last overdrive percentage is 37%.  Both axles include brass weighted tubes inside in addition to the alloy portal knuckle covers on the front axle.  This is the heaviest spec F10 axle yet keeping the center of gravity as low as possible and the weight predisposition forward.  

Suspension

The VRD Carbon Kit includes the Cut S8E shocks with tough anodized shock bodies and several length tuning rod ends for a final length range of 85-95mm.  Sturdy stainless steel lower suspension links and light-weight upper links connect the chassis to the axles with the brand-new Cut Pro M4 rod ends.  The rear lower links are bent for optimum breakover clearance.  Several shock mounting areas and tunable shock length allow for a high range of trip height and breakover adjustment.
