Much better than hard-anodized shocks, Traxxas Hard-Coat shocks significantly decrease
piston/housing friction, and this helps to avoid the heat accumulation that can
cause irregular efficiency. The finish in fact penetrates the T-6
aluminum, making it sometimes more resistant to wear and corrosion.
