EconoKote IS For Use Directly On Foam, Use the Following:

    (EconoKote may be used on top of, however not under MonoKote.)
**Temperature Level Ranges: Flat MonoKote Utilizes a Higher Temperature Level to Use.
    Attaching to Wood: 240 - 275°F (triggering the glue)
    Partial Shrinkage: 230 - 270°F
    Optimum Shrinkage: 270 - 350°F

NOTE: The attributes of the flat MonoKote differ somewhat from
standared MonoKote covering:
Flat MonoKote requires higher temperature levels to use than standard
MonoKote because of the flat surface. In addition to the higher temp
settings, this covering may require the iron to be in contact with
the covering and wood somewhat longer than the standard finish.
If this covering is used too loosely, it may be difficult to get
a tight shrink with this item. Also, when used loosely, it
might end up being difficult to remove any wrinkles that may appear.
