Tamiya 1/72 P-51D Mustang Plastic Model Airplane Kit

This is a 1/72 Plastic North American P-51D Mustang Plane from
Tamiya's War Bird Collection Series. It's for ages 10 and over.

In April 1940, illustrations were sketched in a New York City hotel space for a
new fighter airplane for the British Buying Commission. This fighter, the
North American NA73X, became one of the best fighter airplane in the U.S. Army
Airforce during The second world war, and is referred to as the P-51 Mustang. Of the numerous
variations of this well-known fighter, the P-51D is generally accepted as the
definitive Mustang and was the first production variation with the "bubble"
canopy. More "D" design Mustangs were constructed than all other Mustang variations
combined, with a total of 9,603 coming off production lines.
