Tamiya consistently brings the Mitsubishi G4M1 Design 11 WW II airplane to life with this model set recreation subject in 1/48 scale as part of its extensive model set range.

The Mitsubishi G4M1 Design 11 was formally adapted in 1941 as the follower to the Type 96 bomber. Including a long flight variety which enabled it to attack opponent fleets from land bases, it went on to work as the IJN's mainland-based bomber in the Solomon Islands in 1942. Most of the G4M1s throughout the Solomon Island campaign had their external tail cones eliminated to provide a much better field of fire for the tail-mounted 20mm cannon.
