This is a 1/35 Scale Plastic Sturmgeschutz IV sdkfz163 Tank from Tamiya.
For ages 10 and over.

The Sturmgeschuetz (storm or assault gun) was established in the 1936-39
period to provide armoured assistance for the infantry. This happened largely
due to the fact that the brand-new tanks being produced were destined for the panzer (armoured)
divisions. In a battleground situation there was no guarantee that tanks from
an armoured division would be readily available to support the infantry. Thus the concept
of the assault gun regiment organic to an infantry division came about.
